But really the only bits I find slightly awkward in CA are the third position barres after the key change and some of the descending scale passages if I try to play them with great speed which is an interpretation I don’t really favour. But I think you can distinguish between them sometimes as well – I mean, the rubato and timing CA requires isn’t really a question of technique as such. Beyond that it’s a hard piece to interpret musically.
